I actually came in here by accident thinking it was another place. But nonetheless it was still a good experience on my last day in Amsterdam. The waitresses there are nice and friendly. They have a good selection of beer. They have outdoor seating which which is like pointing directly to the walkway so you can just chill and have a beer, while watching people pass by haha. Free WiFi here, like rest of the city mostly.

Didn’t eat any food, but the Guinness was cold and the staff was friendly. Nice place to people watch.

It was empty when I got there and the service was good. The WiFi did not work for me, but they claim to have free WiFi. A great place to sit back, sip on your beer and watch the people go by.

I was in Amsterdam last Saturday afternoon and was in need of an Irish pub. Arsenal was about to play in the FA Cup semi-final against Reading and there is no way that I planned to miss this game. While walking around I came across the Temple Bar and expected to join a crowd of Anglos crammed in front of a large screen watching the game. Nope. It wasn’t empty but not too many seemed interested int he game. I found a seat right up at the bar in front of one of the screens and after I was assured that they’d put the game on, I orderred my beer. It was an IPA from a local brewery but forget the name. The staff consisted of 3 guys and a gal, all young and all very nice and friendly. The service was also great. Nice, smiling and chatty staff can make a big difference. They did food too but I didn’t eat. I saw nachos constantly being made, so should have had those but never mind, next time. And Arsenal one in extra time!

We were in the city just for the day. It happened to be super cold and our group was hungry. We quickly Unilocaled places around us and nothing seemed to catch our eye. We saw this place and loved the atmosphere and the friendliness. We ordered beer and snacks and it was just perfect. Something rustic and charming about the place. We will come back one day.

sitting outside, drinking beers and judging the people that walk by seems to be the staple over here, at this legit bar. if you are drinking here, you don’t have to pay 0.5 Euro to use the pisser. if you look to your right, there’s a café where people be sparking izm and chillin. I liked the option of going back and forth.

Sitio muy agradable para tomar algo, terraza cerca del canal. Un par de medias pintas y un plataco de nachos con queso y salsa 11 €.

Nice easy going place. People were friendly, decent selection on tap. Great location if the weather is nice to sit outside and enjoy the sun and people watch.

We went in here the first time to catch the NFL game. It’s a nice little Irish pub in the Nieuwmarkt. We stopped in for the third time tonight and the staff all ready had the bottle of Jameson(6 euros for a drink) in hand for us. The bartenders here are pretty spunky too, which I personally enjoy. They seemed to be very happy to have regulars, but are just as chatty and friendly with tourists.

It’s a decent little pub near the Nieuwmarkt that bills itself as irish(but feels slightly more british). They show all sorts of different games, including NFL on Sundays. The prices are middle of the road($ 6 for a Jameson). I’ve been twice and found the staff very likable, so it’s worth a stop in.
