I really want to like this place, I really do, but the food just doesn’t really do anything for me here. It sucks because the staff is wonderful, but the food(both the Japanese and Vietnamese food) is underwhelming. The first time I came here I had the Fried Udon, California roll, salmon and tuna maki. The udon wasn’t really seasoned, and the rice on the sushi was mushy because it was cooked with too much water. The second time I came here, I tried their phở, but the beef was kinda chewy and the broth was flavorless. :(

Service is good, food is good but not amazing. The interior slightly tacky, and a flyer rack prominently displayed is always a bad sign in my book, just like the neon lit coca cola refrigerator in the middle of the restaurant. I like the phở and the fresh spring rolls so that’s what I get every time. Not suitable for a romantic dinner for two.

Customer service is really nice here. I love the high and friendly energy. I always love coming in here for my shrimp springrolls. They have the best spring rolls in town, so good. I get the big, fresh and healthy ones, not the fried ones, since they are so fatty. I also get sweet chilli sauce instead of the soy sauce, taste so much better. The price for food here is so cheap that you literally must be a cheapskate, if you think the prices are expensive. The food here is really average, so you pay for what you get. This spot is my goto place when i am in the mood to enjoy some fresh spring rolls for lunch.

I was there last nigh for late dinner. They are about to close, but still let us order and eat in. Very good Vietnamese phở.(much better than phở 91) Good portion. Taste good. Friendly service too. As for the sushi, it’s not the best, for the price you pay, I think it’s pretty good. At least it’s fresh made. I will certainly go back again.

What a lame place. Food is average and expensive for what you get. Apparently they have a policy to charge for tap drinking water. We were 6 people, and got charged 12 € for tap water!!! Unreal. Think twice if to go there.

I always enjoy the friendly service and the smiles from Suvi. The fish ain’t bad either ;-) The interior of this building has big grand ceilings and colorful stained-glass windows. I will mention that the decour is slightly on the tacky side. It doesn’t take away much from the ambience of the place though. I usually order one of their«menus». Most of these average in price at around € 12. If I’m extra hungry I’ll order an additional role which average around six euro. Hand rolls are quite good. The brownie roll is nice. It is not a dessert roll like you might think, it’s a roll with eel on top.

what a good phở, just when i am exhausted. last night we decided to order some random delivery. suvi was our random pick. and it was really good random pick. boyfriend liked his chicken dish as well. I was so happy to have delicious noodle soup as I wind down from a long day. next time I will try their sushi. ugh the sushi and miso sucked, what a disappointment

Wish I found out about this place sooner. The quality is better than most places and the prices are decent. Delivery may take some time so order early but it’s worth it.

What a good place to eat. We just went to Suvi and ordered Viet food. It was delicious. You don’t have to worry about the quantity, we couldn’t even finish our soap. The place is nice and clean and the dishes not expensive. The workers are nice and they speak english. You can pay by card(Mastercard — Visa card are not accepted) or cash. If you travel nearby, it’s the perfect place to have a break.

There isn’t exactly an overwhelming assortment of Vietnamese or sushi restaurants in Amsterdam, so it’s very slim pickings. I’ve eaten here at least 10 times, really trying to love it. But, alas, it just isn’t very good. The food isn’t very flavorful, the rolls are rolled without any care(or so it feels/tastes like) and often the food doesn’t seem very fresh. The last time I visited I told myself«never again» because the quality just isn’t great and I always feel remorseful after. It’s too bad as the staff are friendly. But… it’s evident they don’t care too much about quality, taste or freshness.

Incredibly, this wasn’t on Unilocal yet. Simple, stylish place that serves sushi and Vietnamese food. It says«Suvi» on the window, but online they’re known as «Sushi Pro Food». Love it. Most of their order come in through the web, so on the Friday night I was there it was very quiet. The food is excellent though. As the delivery boys run in and out, we had the place to ourselves. Recommended.
