5 Stars for the appearance of the most delicious looking meats, salads, cheeses, pates and more. I was chastised for taking a photo but they might have been joking. To our great fortune, we found their restaurant Brasserie Van Dam a block away where we enjoyed a delightful lunch. Definitely have the veal croquettes!!! They are creamy and delicious.

Extremely friendly, high quality and –more importantly– consistent quality. Whether it is 9am or 5pm, this place looks and smells tidy, the staff is making jokes, and everything looks mouth wateringly good.
One big capital lettered ‘but’; nothing’s organic (biologisch) which in 2015 in a self conscious/​health conscious oud zuid is a big capital lettered ‘ugh’.
