Sissy Boy Homeland

My flatmate always manages to get great things here. Me, not so lucky yet. But what I like about it is that it’s usually less picked over than the stores in town. Sometimes when I feel it should be open it’s not, and when I wasn’t expecting it to be open it was. Anyway, good place to stop at Zuid if you have a few minutes before your train.

Since I work in Amstelveen I often go to station Amsterdam Zuid to get subway train 51. Often I also go there a little bit earlier than I need to so I can have a quick (or a relaxt) coffee at Starbucks, buy a newspaper and go to the cute little Sissy Boy shop.
Sissy Boy is a lovely clothing and homewares brand. I worked for them for a very short period of time, so I feel like I really ‘know’ this brand. (It was so short because I did not like working in a clothingshop, although I loved the brand itself.)
Their clothing (both for men and woman, and kids!) is really cool. They also sell Converse shoes :) The home collection is very lovely. They have all kinds of stuff. Chandeliers, candles, rugs and even furniture at the bigger stores. They also sell toys. It really is a lovely brand and the shop at this station is very beautiful and cute.
