Best Thai food at such a reasonable price!!! We had food here for about 7⁄8 times, and each time it was better than the previous one. Great quality of food, great quantity of food at such reasonable prices!!!

I got take out food here and it took for-ever! The only bright side is they have free wi-fi, so I could watch some Orange Is the New Black on my phone while I was waiting. I think it must have taken half an hour to get my red curry with shrimp and fried noodles. I liked that I could customize my dish with a different meat and kind of noodle or rice, but the extra charges were insane. I ended up paying like 17 euros for a simple noodle and curry dish. Satisfying my very specific craving really hit the spot, but the dish did seem a little too sweet. Not really authentic, but ok for being the only restaurant open in the area at the time I was walking by.

Thai food ranks pretty high on my list of favourite foods. This little Thai restaurant crossed our paths so we went in. It was around 9 pm and were seated at the last empty table. It had just been cleared from the previous customers, unfortunately the paper placemats were not exchanged nor were the tables wiped clean. The place smelled wonderful of thai herbs and spices. Though the place looked a bit run-down it was quite charming. The menu was brought right away and we each picked Chicken Satay for starters, which was yummy. The sauce especially so. However, we weren’t so lucky with our mains. I had picked a green curry with shrimps that was entirely too sweet and not nearly spicy enough. There were three shrimps, lots of peas and beans not much else. My companion chose a sweet and sour chicken dish and wasn’t entirely satisfied either. Not Thai food in the traditional sense as we know it and we left a little disappointed.

Easily took a large group at 6 pm without a reservation on Easter Sunday. Food was good, ages 5 to adult all ate sizable portions and enjoyed. Papaya Salad was great. Easy service but only one server in the whole place. She did a great job for us, even as it became full, but I imagine speed of service could be an issue.

I absolutely love the Pad Woonsen here! Coming from NYC, I rate this noodle dish a 4-star. It’s under the vegetarian menu for 10 €, but I requested shrimp to be added, making it 15 €. I’ve been coming here 7x in a month already for the same dish. I also really like the fried spring rolls with chicken. But definitely skip the Tom Yum Koong soup, the shrimps were fresh but the broth was bland.

4 stars only because they were short — handed and a little slow with the service and check. The best Thai I have ever had and it’s one of my favorite foods! Very good curry, comes out in a kettle with heat beneath to keep warm. Papaya salad was awesome and something I always order. My brother knew about this place from when he was overseas in Japan.

Coming from Vancouver, Canada, I had to rate this only 2 stars as I’ve had better tasty Thai dishes in other restaurants in Vancouver. There were 5 of us dining and overall the service was very very slow. We waited over 30 minutes for our food — chicken pad Thai, vegetable fried rice, chicken curry, fish with pineapple in sweet and sour as well as a Tom yum Kaeng soup. This soup needed to be a bit more on the sour taste as it was bland. Curry was too sweet and also a couple of us ordered the Thai Iced Tea which was way too sweet and was not on the menu. You had to ask for it. On the contrary, expecting the fish dish to be sweet, it was not so much tasty. No sweet or sour taste here. In conclusion, the food is either bland or overly too sweet. There is free wifi so just ask for the password.

Maybe it was an off night but boy the food here was awful. My friend, who was so excited to have Thai food, didn’t even touch her food after the first bite. I ate my dish because I was starving but only as much as I needed to feel like I wasn’t going to pass out. Everything was overly sweet, not just sugary but syrupy. There aren’t THAT many Thai restaurants in Amsterdam but there are enough to go somewhere else.

Sehr guter Thai!

The food was okay, nothing great and I feel like the price is a bit higher than others compared to the portion you get. It took over an hour to get our food but it seemed like half of the restaurant did also, while the other half got their food fairly quickly. The vegetarian dishes are mostly curry, and while I appreciate that there are a decent amount of veg. dishes, only a few non-curry based. Since I am coming to expect luke-warm and unreasonably slow service in this city, I was willing to settle for the place being alright, but then both my boyfriend and I were sick for a day after eating there. We are definitely taking this Thai place off our list.

Great, authentic thai restaurant at a reasonable price. I have been a number of times and enjoyed the Yum Neua, Beef Panang, and the Lrb Gai quite a bit. Next time I will explore the seafood options. You wont go wrong going here.

3.5STARS Rather tasty dishes. Had the kang ka re(sp) /yellow curry tofu and wish it had more potatoes – why skimp on the least expensive ingredient– but the sauce was spot on. Veggie spring rolls app was nothing special but I’d order it again. Cashew nut chicken was fresh with good quality breasts. Service was good. Getting a bottle of their house white is a good value. The server said the dishes are spiced milder since they are from the northern region of Thailand. We needed to add pepper flakes and sauce, us being from SoCal.
