Really nice lounge with all the amenities you would want while traveling across the pond.

The Privium lounge at Schiphol is pretty cool. It is a membership lounge, where the membership allows you to use the lounge, and get access to the air side of the airport using iris scan.
This is the perfect location to wait for your flight, with complimentary food, drinks, news papers and free WiFi.
The reason I am not giving 5 stars is that sometimes it is very busy… and a lot of seats are actually not super comfortable.

My largest addiction in life is traveling. And that includes my love for spending time in airplanes. As a child I always dreamt of being a stewardess. And although i fly so often, each time I want to start of my journey being way on time at the airport. Love to wonder around there, enjoying the whole atmosphere, see all the shops and dining places.
But the absolute luxurious thing is my Privium membership card. Parking nearby Schiphol airport entrance, never queuing inline for customs, but passing through the special Privium passage with the iris scan and last but not least their gorgeous Privium Lounge. There you can unwind from a stressful day, or still continue to work or have something to eat from their lovely buffet. Absolutely a must for frequent travelers. You could even complete your Privium subscription with a FLUX membership, so you are able to enter the USA borders without queuing.
