Steaks were delicious. Warm, relaxing atmosphere and a friendly staff. I had a wonderful time with my wife.

The food was good, service friendly and attentative. Bummer is the price vs. What you get. The main dishes have truely starter size and you need starter/​main/​desert not to leave hungry, which makes it a ~ 30 € p.p. food only bill.

This positive review is based on three things only: their home made apple pie, the terrace on a sunny morning and the staff. All three are good. And to top it off, it’s next door to the Verzetmuseum and opposite of Artis.
I have never been here on a rainy day, when it was crazy busy, for lunch or for dinner, so don’t rely on this review is these factors apply to you. But trust me: when you are looking for apple pie outside on a sunny morning and you are in the neighbourhood, choose Plancius.

We had a high tea deal through Groupon for Plancius. It was just really mediocre. No scones, muffins or descent pastries. I won’t recommend doing a high tea here. The waitress was very nice though.
