I was happy to run across this super cute clothing shop for kids. I look forward to shopping in here soon. I am happy that I am starting to see more kid’s stores pop up around Amsterdam. Initially I ask a parent where do Dutch people shop for their kids clothes, and some one commented, well secondhand shops. I was thinking that can’t be true. «Only second hand shops,» yeah right. Amsterdam has a nice variety of different shops to doll your kids up in, and one of my choices would be Petit Bateau.

if you’ve got money to spare for quality baby/​children clothing then this place is the place to go. it’s an international clothing company from France and tres chic. they provide free adorable gift wrapping for all purchases. the look is a classic and traditional style. if you’re looking for fun and creative this is really not the place. they also have a very small section of adult clothing but i wouldn’t bother with that and just come here to spoil your children or gifts you need to purchase for little ones.
