My boyfriend and I had a drink here yesterday afternoon. It was filled with mostly adults(though some children… I don’t really get how people can bring their kids to a bar?), a rocking DJ spinning the Christmas music and a general good vibe. Some bars/nightclubs look horrible during the day but this was an exception. Not that it was anything super special, but you didn’t feel like you wanted to crawl out of there ASAP. They were out of gluhwein so the bartender suggested we go next door to the skating rink, get a cup and bring it inside, which was nice of him. Okay place to stop during the day and good during the evenings as well according to the BF.

This place is good for a cheap beer. It can be filled with students on particular nights. Not the place to go if you just want a quiet drink. They have various different events with different DJs. I have been a few times for hiphop night as a friend of mine plays records for this. It is does get pretty busy and hot on the dance floor. Really large outdoor smoking area. Stays open until 3am.

Awesome place! The ambience was great thanks to a beautiful crowd in an equally beautiful location. Huge patio which unfortunately closes a bit early — don’t remember the exact time, as I was busy having fun, but it might have been midnight or 1am. Anyway, plenty of space indoors as well. Will definitely make this one of my Amsterdam hangouts.

Ate dinner here after a day in Westerpark– had the burger and hated it. The bun was like a hockey puck, which just ruined it. The outdoor patio was a positive, and I had no issues with the service, but the food just didn’t cut it. I would not eat here again.

I’ve been going here for a while but there are some things that will keep me away from now on. Their service continues to be bad, their tables continue to be dirty, all normal in Amsterdam. But the demand for crappy service must be so high that in the past several months they can’t be bothered to serve drinks in clean glasses, or remove bugs from the mint leaves, or serve drinks in anything larger than a thimble. And then they have the nerve to charge you to use the bathroom because«there’s a festival outside.» Keep your bathroom and your bugs.

I thought the level of service in Amsterdam was rising only to find the staff at Pacific Parc brought it higher.

Super charming, relaxed and spacious place to dance, eat, celebrate. Lovely surrounded by the Westparc. Nice for families either. Quick and sympathic service at the bar. Even explains the different dutch beers for non-connaisseurs and offers free samples to decide which one tastes best. Also nice for little concerts and dance events. Good to reach by public transport — even better by bike.

Numbers first, I have been here for about eight months now and I have been to Pacific Parc around 8 to 10 times. –Oasis. Exactly inside westerpark. Spacious biking parking and smoking area. –Friday and Saturday nights after midnight. No need to check the DJ or agenda, as the expectation always meet up with the old school mix. –Mixed crowd. This can be very extreme or mono sometimes though. –Music. Okie, last night’s hip-pop was a bit too much. Most of the time it is more rock remix. And sometimes if some punk live before midnight. We are crazy about the disco nights. –Dance and chill. The many seats at the back are always available for chilling Above all –Free entry! They do have ugly blue ink stamp.

Pacific Parc is a fantastic introduction to nightlife in Amsterdam. After three months of living here I’d still say this is one of the best places I’ve been to. A bit off the beaten path being West of the city, but well worth the bike ride. Definitely an alternative crowd, leaning towards punk. Played some great oldies and 80s/90s classics. No wallflowers here – everyone danced and sang along.

Great location right in the beautiful and under-evaluated Westerpark. Wide room indoor and large terrace outside, it’s a great place for having lunch during a day at the park. Food is good and moderately priced. There’s free Wi-Fi, so the place is also good for some internet time or for a business meeting.

Wow, what a gem. I don’t spend much time too far West of the city center since I live in the East but I’m so glad that I made the journey out to Pacific Parc. I went here on a Saturday night to dance and drink with some friends. Pacific Parc was fantastic choice of location. The building was gorgeous, the staff was friendly, and there were many cool design features(including an indoor fire pit). Overall it was a great break from the typical night club fare of repetitive house music and students. The crowd was much more«alternative» than I’ve seen at other venues in the center. There were some rock-a-billys, plenty of messy haired boys with leather coats and pins, and more than a few girls with blue, pink, or orange hair. It was cool to see Amsterdammers who weren’t decked out in the usual leggings or jeans with blouses and boots. They were most likely drawn to Pacfic Parc because the music was different than anything else I’ve heard in the city. The DJ placed James Brown, songs from the musical«Hair,» and some sweet 90’s songs too. The drinks were decently priced and the staff really was very cool; the standout was the doorman – a blonde man in a gold and black printed dinner jacket. The bartenders also weren’t afraid to smile and sing along to the music. It’s nice to see people enjoying their work. Their smiles were definitely contagious.

Located in a park on an old(renovated) industrial site with gorgeous buildings, just off the city center. Huge outside seating, great mixed local crowd. If you want something different than the center and feel like chilling, a drink, breakfast, lunch, dinner and/or dancing(weekends): Go West :) The DJ’s/bands can play anything from rock to world music, crowd goes wild every weekend!
