best quaint little hotel in amsterdam, especially for an american. this places was super clean, the owner was extremely nice, breakfast every morning, great location, super cool interior… the list goes on. do it, you won’t be dissapointed!

Probably the best bed & breakfast I’ve ever stayed in. I spent about 10 nights in Amsterdam and I felt like I had my own swanky canal house in the center of the city. There’s two kitchens and a great living room looking out onto The Singel. It was spacious, clean and beautiful.
The rooms are really nice — comfy beds, large showers, reliable wifi. Some friends who were staying in a hotel in Dam Square were paying 30% more for a dirty room that just didn’t compare.
If… make that when… When I come back to Amsterdam I’m staying here again.

WOW, loved this place!
I booked a double room for 115 EURO a night for 2 persons.
Vlad, one of the owners, was fantastic.
He was friendly and communicative. He provided us with tips, suggestions, and went out of his way to make sure we were happy.
Room was beautiful. Lots of light, good bedding, and awesome bathroom.
Despite many hangovers, we were *gently* woken up by the friendly staff to ensure that we enjoyed our European breakfast every morning.
Nice location, walking distance to everything.
I took the train station and walked there. It saved me 12 – 15 EURO.
