Lalezar Turks Restaurant

LOVE this place! The owner and his wife are very kind and helpful when it comes to picking out a dish. The mixed grill is what I get every single time. The chicken is tender, the lamb is delicious, and the dipping sauces top it all off! Can’t wait to go back!

Lalezar is an outstanding restaurant on the Northside. This restaurant is an oasis away from an otherwise grungy, industrial neighborhood and street.
Once inside, the rich woods all around, from the walls to the ceilings along with the décor and friendly greetings from Alsam, the owner. make this a worthwhile respite.
I attached some pictures of the interior (before opening time). Otherwise, the place draws a good crowd.
Food wise, the fare is Turqish. Favorite on my list is the mixed grill: A large platter of grilled lamb, chicken, beed, kofti alongside a sald and some rice. Alongside, are served some relishes and dressing for the salad as well as a basket of freshly baked bread.
The grilled meats were prepared just right. Tender meats, spiced right and cooked perfectly.
No complaints. Only praise.
The meal was topped off with some bite-​sized Baklava which were absolutely delicious.
