Terrible service. I went in three times in one day. They kept asking me to come back 30 minutes later but each time I returned they pretended they didn’t remember me from before even though I was wearing a bright green scarf and look very different than the average dutch person. Finally, after waiting 40 minutes they said that they could not take credit cards after they had told me they could about 2 hours before. Most of the employees won’t speak to you. Overall, 4 hours wasted and still no manicure.

I do not have a vast list of comparison for nail salons but this one seemed fine with me. I decided to go there for a pedicure after a long run and months of beating up my feet. They did a really good job cleaning me up and the scheduling was nice to get the appointments in after work but before they closed. I was even able to SMS back-and-forth with them a few times for this. All of the ladies which were there at the time were really helpful and happy. It was all done clean and quickly which was great as well. My only complaint for stars is that when she was razoring off the dead skin on my feet she sliced my little toe a bit. It was bleeding for a while but not so bad that I feel it the next day. Certainly worth the trip for a centralized fast and friendly manicure over pedicure.

This was honestly one of the best mani-pedis in my life. Although slightly painful at times, I’ve never seen my feet and nails look so good.

I was super happy to be able to walk in to this place on a Friday afternoon without an appointment and get a manicure right away. The manicure was pretty thorough, and I thought that € 26 was not bad for a shellac manicure. So, why not five stars? Unfortunately, the polish on one of my index fingers was already peeling up the next day, and I could not go back to get it fixed as I left the day after the manicure for a trip to Asia. I think the polish peeled either from my nails being too wet when the polish was applied or from the quality of the«shellac» polish. That said, I might return but it wouldn’t be my first choice when I need a manicure.

Wasn’t sure where to go to get a manicure but hurray, Unilocal to the rescue! This place is very simple, almost medical looking. I probably wouldn’t have stopped here on my own, but glad I went. They are professional, nice and they have a great eye for detail, using a paint brush dipped in remover afterwards as needed. Cash only.

Love this place. Best salon in Amsterdam for a legit pedicure. I wen to 3 other places and they were terrible. Overpriced, terrible sanitation, and lack of detail for sure. Manicures WILL chip(like any other place) so get the shelac to make it worth your money. Definitely love that they take walk-ins and they are open 7 days a week. CASHONLY!!! Just so you know ;) *I think to get polish on your toes it costs 5 eur extra? Make sure to ask them. ALLPLACES in Amsterdam do this. not just this place. You get done, and they tack on 5 euros, so just be careful. But it IS a great experience. Worth what they charge.

My wife and daughter had a manicure and pedicure here, just round the corner from Hotel Pulitzer and came back excited about their great experience. Recommended. Not expensive and a high standard of work and attention to detail.
