Great lunch spot. Large portion sizes and friendly service. Food took a while to come out but we were the only ones there at 1:30 pm so I’ll cut them some slack. Fun atmosphere with a decent amount of seating.

Stopped in here for brunch as our 2nd meal in Amsterdam. The waiter and possibly owner was polite and accommodating and looks a little like Gary Sinise. The food was reasonably priced and had a bit of a Hispanic flair. The beer and wine looked like it was pretty cheap. The hot chocolate had real chocolate and was quite rich and tasty.

This little café is delightful, with excellent food and service. We had the Homemade Beefburger, Mackerel Pâté, and Molletes, and it was all very tasty. Friendly staff, cute atmosphere… I highly recommend it.

This place is truly a hidden gem. My wife and I came here while doing laundry across the street and we were glad we did. We split a chicken ceased sandwich which was phenomenal — fresh ingredients and great bread. Also, their beer prices are very reasonable, especially for the area. The service was wonderful — the waitress was cheery and welcoming. I highly recommend this place.

Walked right passed it but luckily there was a sign outside mentioning they had coffee and breakfast so we wandered in and had a late brunch (it was around 2pm and they were still doing breakfast! yaay!)
They have excellent coffee and the authentic yet cozy look makes you want to sit there for hours and enjoy the calm.
I had the «Spiegelei 59»: eggs sunny side up with potatoes and Pata Negra, a spanish ham i believe.
It was excellent! We had a fresh OJ and Carrot juice with that and the price was very reasonable.
The bread was fresh out of the oven!
We had a wonderful brunch and the service was really good as well, I could recommend it to anyone who is in the Leidseplein area!
