Sorry but no. I would like to say yes because the lady was nice enough but everything else about this experience was a fail. We only stopped in because the place we wanted to go was full and it was getting late. It seemed good enough from what we could see and a man outside said he had been eating here for ten years. The decision was for two loempias, schezwan tofu and vegetables with oyster sauce. The loempias were far too big and just filled with spring beans. We didn’t finish them. The schezwan tofu did not come at all. Either that or the dish we did get was A mix between schezwan and bland oyster sauce. Never again basically. Actually thinking back on it now the guy out front did say he’s eaten there for 10 years and never got sick. That’s how you know it’s good. That should’ve been the first warning. I’m going to say possibly the worst or most bland food I’ve had.

It is the only chinese restaurant in the Jordan area. After reading couple reviews, I have decided to give it ago. I ordered the Kam Wah Peking duck(No.5) to go and I was pleasantly surprised. The duck are nicely cooked and with good favour. They also have some vegetables at the bottom of the dishes which is also really nice. I also tried the Kam Wah chicken last time and it was a also really good favors. The restaurant itself is pretty small and only have couple small tables. Most people seems to order take away here.

If you’re afoot looking for chinese food, this is the only one in the Jordaan, so say the owners who are friendly. It’s a tiny place with maybe eight or so tables. They serve chinese food in the Cantonese or Szechaun styles along with a selection of some Indonesian dishes. There is plenty to choose from as the menu is extensive enough to satisfy most palates. The menu is only in Dutch. The prices are moderate. As with most restaurants in this fashion you can order entrees or full meals. I had an appetizer, a pork loempia, which was larger than I expected but tasty. I also ordered two entrees, one a spicy beef with vegetables and a noodles dish with pork. They do have spicy food for those of you looking for some spice to heat up your mouth. They do take away here which is what I did. They have paper menus you can take with you to figure out what you’re going to order next time. They’re also dog friendly. Check it out if you’re in the neighborhood. Oh and they’re cash only.
