Found this hotel on Priceline and it had awesome reviews… for good reasons! 1. Location: located just outside of central Amsterdam and accessible by train. You get off at Sloterdijk Station, exit the front doors and the hotel is just to your left! So convenient! 2. Price: paid way less than if I stayed in the busy central Amsterdam area. 3. Service: Virginia checked me in and when I had reservation issues with Priceline, she helped me out by assisting me in calling them and then changing my date. She was so helpful after I had made a mistake with the date. She checked me in that day and kept the special price I had. 4. Free breakfast buffet: this is a good deal. Was able to fuel up in the morning with yogurt, meats, cheeses, fruit, cereals, and oatmeal as well as many beverages. Overall it was an awesome stay. When I checked out Virginia wanted me to rate my stay and I rated it a 9 out of 10 due to the scuff marks other guests had made on the wall where your suitcase sits. Other than that, it was good. Also, if you are a light sleeper, the trains may bother you but to me they were quiet and I sleep with a white noise app :) Very good hotel if you decide you want to stay out of the craziness of downtown Amsterdam and save some money!

Location is right next to the station. So easy to find. Reception is in the first floor and there is a small bar next to it. Plenty of places to sit. Breakfast us so much better than the uk chain of holiday inn express. 4 choices if cereal along with meats and cheeses with salad and billed eggs. Room was very clean and good sized bathroom with large shower. No drawers in the room but entry of open shelves for clothes. The bed was poor and uncomfortable. The room was quiet with air conditioning, although the air conditioning panel was not intuative. Nice hotel apart from the bed!

A somewhat suburban location, certainly no great viewer, but comfortable, modern, and VERY convenient to both the airport and the center of the city — it is across the street from the Sloterdijk Station which has great connections to everywhere by train, metro, bus and tram! The breakfast beats any that I have had in a US Holiday Inn, but there is no dining option after breakfast. However the train station has several decent options until late. Otherwise almost no sit-down restaurants nearby. From a business traveler’s perspective there are a couple of areas for improvement: Need an iron and an ironing board in every room(you have to check one out at Reception, if they have one, and I got a pretty useless iron, no steam capabilities and falling apart). Making tea in you your should not cost as much as a beer, and listing the min-bar prices in the room is silly, given that there is no mini bar or fridge. Other than that, it’s a great hotel, I would stay here again. Oh, ask for a room facing away from the train tracks, that should reduce the«urban» noises.

This is a funny hotel. The good — really clean hotel. The rooms and common areas are very well kept. The bathrooms are pretty large, clean and have big showers. Large showers are not always the case in Europe. The buffet breakfast is well done too. Well stocked with breads, cold cuts(ham, salami, cheese etc), coffee, tea, hard boiled eggs, juices, yogurts etc. and a great way to start your day. The hotel is also really convenient as it is literally feet away from the Amsterdam Sloterdijk train station making it an ideal hub location to see Amsterdam and nearby towns(Haarlam, Delft and The Hague). They have a nice bar at the reception desk level(floor zero) and it makes it very convenient for a nightcap or two. Small issues — the blow dryers provided are pretty weak. You don’t want to bring your own from home so plan on damp hair. The beds are not very comfortable. While the bedding is nice and clean there is no cushion on the bed top. That makes the beds very hard and you can feel the springs. They need to update their beds. Lastly, the entrance to the hotel is very odd. The hotel entrance is on the bottom floor(which they call –2) and the reception desk is two floors up on floor 0(zero). There is no direct entrance in to the reception area as there are in 99% of the hotels on the planet. Not a deal breaker but it does take a bit getting used to. Lastly, there are not a lot of reasonably priced places to eat nearby unless you want to eat at the train station(try Julia’s). So I would suggest eating wherever you are visiting before coming back to the hotel. All in all a solid hotel that needs to upgrade their beds.

Although we were on the outside of the center of Amsterdam, this was the perfect spot for us to use as the sleeping/resting venue. The rooms were fairly small in size but we were only there to rest and partake in the morning breakfast which catapulted us into our day of seeing Amsterdam. I felt secure there; if it was past 10 p.m., the desk had to confirm that you were staying there before they buzzed you in. We did ask for a roll-away bed the first night but did not receive it until the second night. Public transportation into Amsterdam is available via the train, which I highly recommend versus the bus. We were only 1-stop away from the Amsterdam activities…

We chose to stay here while visiting Amsterdam. It is outside of the city but it is accessible by a 10 minute train ride from Schiphol. As for the rest of Amsterdam there are a number of busses, trams and metros to catch just feet from the hotels front door. The hotel is very new. It is clean and more than we needed for our stay. Our stay also included a continental breakfast that was really good. The staff at the hotel were quite friendly and they were very adept and helping us navigate the extensive mass transit system. My only complaint with the hotel was that if you choose to open the windows then it can be quite loud from the trains and busses outside.

Empfehlung!

Brand new hotel. It is very nice and clean but just a bit out of the way. Staff is nice and they have free breakfast.

Ansonstent empfehlenswert!
