First of all, I am so glad Flip found this place! It’s rather close to home for me and I am very excited to return and bring friends. I loved the long table idea since it felt very family style and the people you were close to, you got to know rather well. The quinoa cookie was delightful! Surprising yet very tasty and I could have eaten many more. The soup was very nice as well. As a picky eater, coming to something like this is very nerve-wracking, but it all turned out beautifully. The beef was excellent… I was really surprised at how well it was cooked and how flavorful it was since cooking for so many people can really hurt the love put into food. And the desserts. Oh my! The chocolate was heavenly and the lemon cheesecake(yes, I had some of my husband’s!) was so nice and light. The hosts were quite generous with the wines and were incredibly attentive! If a bottle of wine or water was empty, it wasn’t long until another one came along. And they really wanted to know if you enjoyed your food. Super, super friendly staff! I’m so glad different parts of the dinner and the history of the restaurant were explained. I really enjoy learning more about how places came to be. Overall, a very lovely evening and I can’t wait to make my own meal with my bag of veggies! Thank you Flip for this great night!
