A classy Italian restaurant ideal for a business dinners, but also suitable for a more informal occasion. The food is excellent and the service by our Italian waiter was very good, although sometimes he did not check well enough if everybody at the table agreed not having dessert. But he solved everything with humor, which immediately makes it no issue anymore. I started with an ‘insalate di pulpo’ a very nice fresh octopus salad with a orange dressing. The spaghetti al vongole was wonderful, best I ever had outside of Italy. I can really recommend the chocolate cake with icecream. The chocolate melts on the inside of the cake, a true indulgence… I immediately attacked so no photo there I’m afraid

Food is better than ok, and not out of line with Amsterdam dining prices…
but the service is very poor.
It’s not that the workers are bad people, they just need training. If they could even make eye contact with you at least once every 15 minutes, they could sell a LOT more food/​drinks. But instead, in my three visits, I have always had to sit and wait and wait (or even get up and hunt someone down) to order or get additional drinks.
What this restaurant has going for it is location. There just aren’t a lot of restaurants in this business area.
Even though this place is close to work, I would rather get on a tram and go 20 minutes to another area to get good food and better service.
