This is the third time I’ve been here since it opened and I must say I am a bit disappointed with still the huge lines at the fitting room. The store itself is nice. I miss the colorful and trendy clothing from America and here you can find quite some nice stuff. I can imagine that for the Europeans some of the things they have here might look odd but I really like all the colors and patterns they have. Price wise is something in between Primark and C&A and H&M. If you are not a patient person then this store is not for you. Long lines at the fitting room and at the Kassa are regulars here. Well it is worth a try at least once on a rainy day.

Really rude and nasty security at this place. Wanted to sit down and wait for the kids while they spent my money. The one dipsh! t even threatened me physically. I am really upset by the way he behaved, and the store should fire him asap.

Forever, that’s how it feels, when standing in line for something less exciting — unlike at a theme park. Similar snaky lines though. And I am not 21, so I feel a bit awkward. There are lots of Kids, just mentioning it makes me feel old — and mums with kids, and there’s the occassional lost ones, like me. Truth be told, they have some nice cheap stuff, but you really have to have patience to spot them — which I am lacking — and a good mood(no no, i did have one of those). Tip #1 Best to shop early on, and before school’s out. And defo not on a Saturday! Lesson learned… :) Tip #2 It’s hard to spot them but some of the staff have a yellow lanyard. And some will look at you with a «OMG she’s gonna ask me a Q» look, make them do a math test, see what happens! Cruel yes, fun: hell yes! Tip #3 Fitting room lines are worst, just take ‘em home and fit in peace. You can return the product and get a full refund or exchange the product for another one, be it similar or not within 30 days. All in all, 3* because it’s inexpensive but so many items are of inferior quality. If you’re ok with that, i’m sure you’ll have a blast :) Happy shopping!

The 1st Forever 21 has opened in Amsterdam on the popular shopping street Kalverstraat. The prices are low and maybe a bit cheaper than H&M, though quality is also a bit lower. The clothing styles here are definitely different from the US, and there were a lot of crop tops and strange patterns… however, if you’re looking for cheap basics like tank tops, leggings, etc. this is a great place to pick them up. Forever 21 is usually known to have nice dresses, but sadly this version doesn’t stock that many dresses. There were a TON of people at the store and in line for the fitting rooms, so be prepared to spend a lot of time waiting…
