This might look like your typical Turkish grocery shop/convenience store but I can very much appreciate that they carry quite a few international items from a few other cultures too! They have Persian items such as pure natural Persian rosewater and concentrated lemon juice, Indian items such as a wide array of spices, oils and butters, Surinamese ingredients, Indonesian items and even certain Chinese comestibles! They even have real American FROOTLOOPS!(see pic). Given, it’s pricey, but hey, it still beats the price of it at the Food Court at Schiphol. All in all, this shop has a bit of everything including that which Turkish shops always carry such as fresh olive assortments, lots of different kinds of cheeses, fetas, bolognas, sausages, yoghurts, herbs and what have you. Inside they also have a halal butcher. I love halal butchers, not because I’m religious, but because, if they do it truly according to their religion, the animal is treated properly and it is is slaughtered by certain means that allows the heart to pump out most of the blood through the carotid artery resulting in meat that’s virtually blood-free which is a lot healthier for consumption. And if you’re grossed out by what I just explained and you’re not a vegetarian, then shut up and stop being a hypocrite. Their opening times are pretty decent, too.
