Very gezellig. It’s one of those trusted brown Amsterdam drinking establishments, with its own personality. Quite spacious and located in a nice little corner, this is the perfect spot to wind down after a long day. You can sit outside, rain or shine, or revel inside the fancy open interior with its tall glass windows giving you a view of the life on the street.
The service is quick and fast, and they even come take orders at your table. Perfect for groups of about 10 in size, even. The beers are very nice, and the selection of spirits also commendable. I am a whisky drinker, though. They do have snacks to go with your drinks and good times, although the selection seemed rather mediocre, especially on the vegetarian side.
I have only been during the week and it wasn’t crowded, but your mileage on more restful days might vary.
