DONOTATSTAYTHISHOTEL. This hotel is the worst hotel I have ever stayed in. The stair case to walk up to the hotel are very steep and there are a lot of stairs. We finally got to our room after climbing up more stairs cause there is no elevator and the room was okay at first but there was no room for out suit cases apart from the middle of the floor or the door way. You can open the cupboard just enough to see the space you cannot use because the bed is in the way. I had a shower and water went all over the bathroom floor because the water wasn’t going down the drain fast enough and I had to turn the water off otherwise the water would of flooded the whole bathroom. And just to top it off the drain smelled really bad. The sheets on our bed wasn’t even a prober sheet. It was top single top sheets on a double bed. I checked under the bed and it was full of RUBBISH. We wanted to check out but they said we had to wait until 9am. They offered another«better» room but it was right on the street. I could hear everything I might as well sleep in the street, there was no difference. We paid for three nights which was € 355 and we checked out first thing in the morning. They refused to give us our money back. They gave us only € 95.

The location is great and easy to get to a lot of places(check out the Pancake Bakery nearby for flapjacks the size of a dog.) Everything else about this place isn’t so hot. It’s on a very busy street, and if it’s during the summer and you need to cool down you’ll need to open the windows — if you do that and if you get a room on the street side you may not be getting much sleep(we switched rooms for a place facing the back/neighbors’ courtyard which was a huge improvement.) The staff was fine, but nothing special. The entry stairs are very steep and narrow — if you have issues with walking then this is not the place for you. The breakfast«buffet» was pretty minimal — there were a couple of bags of bread, some bagels of undetermined vintage, some hardboiled eggs and all the single serve tubs of Nutella you could ever hope for. The toaster held four slices of stuff though, so we had that going for us. The rooms appeared to be clean enough, but each morning after sleeping in her twin bed my wife woke up with tons of tiny, red bug bites — apparently her bed was infested with something nasty. Speaking of nasty, one time I dropped the remote under my twin bed — when grasping for it I noticed that it was suddenly a bit slimy. When got down and looked under the bed I found that I wasn’t touching the remote but rather a very slimy bottle of lubricant with a picture of a heavily muscled man on the front. Awesome. After we left my wife’s bed nit bites went away and I suffered no ill effects from my run-in with the slippery bottle of butt lube(and ensuing purifying hand scalding in the«everything drains to the center of the room» bathroom.) This place was about a half notch above a hostel.
