There is a reason these folks consistently receive 5 star ratings. our 4 day stay at the Hotel De L’Europe was THE best hotel experience anyone could ever dream of. the incredible location, central to all activities in town, only adds to the impeccable service and amenities this place has to offer.
From the Spa center and delightful modern pool, to the heated floors in the bathroom, robes, incredible sound system, coffee maker, comfortable beds and great pillows, excellent wi-​fi reception at all times, the decorations, the lighting system, room service, the turndown service and the little gifts they leave in your room each night. the concierge was very knowledgeable and extremely friendly and helpful.
This is by far, the BEST hotel stay we have ever experienced. A special thanks to the team of employees for having made our incredible vacation such a memorable one.

An exceptional hotel in Amsterdam, pricy but absolutely luxurious.
The food was exceptional and I think each of our crew gained 2 – 3 kilos after 13 days there (long story, no Reader’s Digest version available).
Two of the three of us were asked if we’d move our room to accommodate reservations during this unusually-​long stay. We gave our permission to move our belongings and crew bags and when we came to our new rooms later that day, found that we were apparently upgraded to rooms with a better view: all of our uniforms and clothing were unpacked and hung in the closet, our uniform shirts apparently were pressed, and our uniform shoes shined.
Impressive customer service, though language was a small barrier on occasion.
If you want an excellent hotel to stay in Amsterdam, I’d recommend this one.

This hotel is an absolute must for your Amsterdam stay. It is historic and beautiful, centrally located, has a great staff and the best concierges anywhere. They were wonderful setting me up with special tours, arranging front of the line museum passes – a must for the Van Gogh and the special shows at the Rijks. and Stedelijk. Don’t stay anywhere else!

We, my friend and me, had a business trip in the area a week ago. We booked two individual rooms in the hotel through another friend in rush.
By the time, we checked in, we thought we should stay in one room with two beds, because of the price. And we have stated clearly to the lady at the checkin desk that we need one room with two bed for two nights, and she seemed understand our request.
By the time of the porter taking us to the room, we were speechless to see a one huge bed in the middle of the room! What the fXXk!
We immediately back to the front desk to requested the lady change the room to a two bed room. The amazing thing was from the lady: she asked us to pay the first room she checked in for us first, then we can get a second room with two beds! Holly ShXT, 1: We even did not touch anything in the first one bed room, 2: She made mistakes. What she was thinking we were guy or something?

Stayed with my family in 2 guest for four days and was very impressed. Hotel is located in nice area of town with shops and restaurants nearby. The hotel staff is very friendly and the guest rooms were perfect. Next time I am in Amsterdam I will stay at the Hotel De l“Europe.

Great, spacious, luxury hotel tight in the middle of the old city, right near everything you came to see. The non-​smoking king bed room overlooking an intersection of canals was a great home base, with a fantastic brasserie off a somewhat flashy lobby. The concierge, front dest, and doormen were extremely helpful, because it was our first visit to Amsterdam, but certainly not our last!
