I really like this salon except for the fact that I noticed the last time I went they do not clean any of the tools! That’s a serious no-no. I don’t know if it’s always been like this(feel like I would have noticed it earlier?!) or a new trend. That said, I don’t have a good replacement so I may continue to go and risk the Hepatitis infection. Oh gosh did I just say that?!

Small shop but the ladies were all very nice. The price was excellent for a quick mani(20 euro shelac), definitely not a spa environment but sometimes you just need your nails done!

This place is ok but I wouldn’t run around bragging about it. Mani/pedi is decent. There are only 2 pedicure chairs so if you walk-in you might need to wait. The few times I’ve been there I wasn’t hugely impressed with my pedicure… I like when they really get in there to fix my cuticles. The last couple months they were closed on Sunday & there has been construction on the street in front of them. Call ahead to make sure they are open. If it’s open on Sunday & I need my nails fixed, I might go back.

Big thanks to the ladies of Unilocal!I came here after reading the reviews and I was really happy with their nail services. The place is a no-frills type of place and it’s by no means luxurious. I’ve been looking for a place like this here for a long time, as they were super common back in California but not so much here in Holland; I’ve grown tired of going to super expensive mini spas in Holland and being disappointed that the result was way overpriced and at times sloppy. So, I was super excited to find this place… I got a 15 Euro manicure and it looks great! I’ll definitely be back in the future!

Yay Crystal Nails! Finally, one of those famed, but-somehow-hard-to-find cheap nail places! I’ve been going here for about 2 months now, getting shellac manicures and the occasional pedi. I’m totally please with the work these girls do! The manicure lasts for 3 weeks and the pedicure leaves my otherwise war-torn feet feeling silky smooth. The other thing I like about this place is that it’s relatively quiet. Not like some of the more manic nail places in Amsterdam. The one improvement I’d suggest would be to get a little Nespresso machine or something! A little coffee would make the experience perfect!(Even if I look silly trying to drink it while avoiding putting my newly painted nails in harms way!)

Best and cheapest mani-pedi in Amsterdam. They do the works for less than the price of a manicure at some of the fancier salons. Bonus points for taking walk ins.
