Writing this review on the train to Paris :-) Looking for breakfast before leaving Amsterdam for Paris, we found this crêpe place not too far from the train station. The restaraunt is quaint and welcoming. We both had coffee, and it was OK. We love coffee and have definitely had better, but this did the trick giving us the warm caffeine boost we needed. I had a crêpe with salmon, spinach, onions, goat cheese, and some type of pickle sauce. My crêpe was awesome! My wife had the«dutch breakfast» which included eggs, sausage, bread, and a few types of cheese. I sampled hers and it was also yummy, though the sausages were kind of blah. Overall good breakfast, friendly service, a little more pricey than what we are used to, and a great location in Amsterdam Centraal. Try this place if you are in the area.

Good food and value. The place is modern and clean and the staff friendly. A good option for breakfast or a light meal in an area full of turist traps

The food is amazing. Savory or sweet. I myself sampled the entire menu having been hit by the munchies. More-ish. Service is extremely fast but I wouldn’t sit down there for too long. Very busy

The CrepeBar is near the Centraal Station in Amsterdam and right around the corner from the Crowne Plaza City Centre. I discovered the CrepeBar my last day in Amsterdam and it worked perfect for a lighter lunch/late breakfast. The restaurant has a small amount of seating but it was relatively empty for a late Sunday morning. In addition WiFi was available here for free, you just had to ask the waitstaff for the password. There were 2 of us eating at the CrepeBar and we both ordered a savory crêpe and later split a dessert crêpe. The savory crêpe I had was called Viva Le Crêpe, and included smoked turkey, bacon, pesto, cucumbers, lettuce, and tomatoes. The combination of the ingredients with the crêpe were really good and the pesto went well with the turkey and bacon. The other person I was with had a Caesar Crêpe that included the typical Caesar ingredients and mushrooms. For dessert we split a candy apple crêpe where you could add powdered sugar to it. The crêpe was delicious and the nuts went well with the sauce and apples. This was an easy and light meal to have right by the hotel I was staying at. If I had known this restaurant was right around the corner, I would have stopped here sooner. Overall a great place to stop by if you want a light meal or some tasty dessert crepes.

Such amazing crepes! The lady that served us was extremely friendly and the food was delicious. Highly recommend! I had the ham & cheese crêpe and my friend had the florentine and we were very satisfied with both.

We stopped by here while on our honeymoon in Amsterdam to grab some lunch and it was delicious! Crêpe Bar offers up a boatload of options for fillings and has them categorized by meal«type»(breakfast, lunch, desert) on a giant chalkboard on one wall of the shop. This was extremely helpful at a few points but they also list their café menu as well — coffees and the like. Additionally, they serve the typical few Dutch beers and sodas you’d expect to find at any restaurant. I ordered a crêpe with turkey, cheese, lettuce and chipotle mayonnaise. It was super savory and hit the spot! A small side note we grew to become accustomed with over our multi-week stay in The Netherlands — as an American we are used to a certain type of wait staff. This city(for the most part) leans in the total opposite direction. You will flag down your server for drinks, utensils, check… anything you expect to just happen in The States? You’ll request it here. And you’ll feel you’ve inconvenienced the person you’re asking it of. It’s a cultural difference and one I’ve had a hard time adapting to. But, when in Rome…(or Amsterdam)

Restaurants in the tourist district can be suspect, but this was an excellent find. They have a great selection of sweet and savory crepes, as well as other offerings. We were looking for a crêpe snack in the mid-afternoon and this did not disappoint! We are trying to make time to go back prior to leaving. Also great coffee and other hot beverages.

It was late at night when we went to this place, so it was relatively empty. I didn’t care, I had been in search of a decent crêpe for weeks. This place was effing expensive, 8 euros for a simple crêpe, plus tip – ended up being 20 euros with tip for 2 people. My mistake for not getting one while I was in France. Overall it was a decent crêpe, it wasn’t a smooth pancake like you typically find, it had little holes all over it. Maybe cooked at too high of a temp? The strawberries and banana were tasty, as was the Nutella, I just wish it had more fruit. Maybe it was just me, but our crepes looked… how shall I put this… inappropriate? Haha, I guess it’s just part of the Amsterdam experience! I don’t know if I’d ever come back to this place, but it’s perfect if you’re looking for a late-night place to quell your craving.

Stumbled upon this place walking to Centraal Station, which you can see from the creperie. We had sweet crepes, bananas and strawberries with nutella. Both crepes were delicious and the service was quick. They have a pretty large menu of both savory and sweet crepes so I would go back to try another.

Based on the location of this place(within a stone’s throw of Centraal station), you would never expect it to be any good. You would be wrong! The entire menu is written on a huge chalkboard as you walk in and they have a huge selection of sweet and savory crepes(as well as a few other things like dutch pancakes and waffles). Crepes in general are not hugely substantial, so we ordered two each. I thought the savory ones were the best! The lox crêpe had plenty of salmon and cheese, but also salad inside. The Cuban was really tasty, and some of the dessert crepes even came with ice cream! The least exciting was the crêpe with just butter and sugar, but that’s the point. It was still good. Definitely order some poffertjes — small, fluffy dutch pancakes — to share. The ones here are really tasty!

Was so good, I came back for more. It’s hard to choose one crêpe; the menu is huge! I can’t remember the names of the crepes I had, but the first was like a margarita pizza in a crêpe — soft, creamy mozzarella, fresh cut tomatoes and basil. I’m craving it now. The next visit was for breakfast, and I had and egg, ham and cheese crêpe. I asked if they could switch bacon for the ham and they happily obliged. I had the Romeo & Juliet for dessert one day — delicious! It’s simple — lemon, butter and a sprinkle of icing sugar. Was a taste of my childhood. Service was great, and the Illy coffee was good too. They also have a full English breakfast for those that don’t want a crêpe.
