In the world of restaurant dining, very few establishments are able to establish their own hospitality statement. CousCousine has achieved success in this.
From the time you are cordially invited inside to when you receive your complimentary cheese ball, the bar has always been higher than average here. Being a neighborhood restaurant means you will also enjoy running into familiar faces (ok, that was an exaggeration).
Now the food — who could have thought that couscous could taste so awesome?! I am vegetarian, so I can’t review everything on the menu, but holy crap, the vegetarian couscous dish is heavenly. Lots of vegetables, almonds, and fresh couscous. This is a recipe for awesome food. It arrives to you steaming hot in a stylish covered pot. I want to eat a serving now.
It’s a small restaurant in one of the best areas of the city, so plan not to come in a huge group. It’s cosy in the winter and cool in the summer. The owner is a friendly person who is always fun to chat with.
