Coffee Company

No me puedo creer lo que he visto aquí y es que la gente se pone a trabajar tan cómodamente, que se sienten como en casa. ¡Incluso se descalzan y ponen los pies sobre la mesa y todo!
El local tiene una mezcla entre bohemio e industrial, con carteles de conciertos en las paredes, y los tubos de la calefacción por el techo. Al fondo puedes encontrar la zona de mesas bajas con sofás. Por la forma de sentarse de algún que otro, debían ser muy cómodos y sí, tuvimos ocasión de probarlos y lo eran. El resto se combina entre mesas paqueñas, o una gran mesa de madera larga en pleno centro del local.
Casi todos estaban trabajando con su portátil, aprovechando la WiFi gratuita. Las mesas con vistas a la plaza disponen de enchufes, supongo que eso hará que estén muy solicitadas, sobre todo en invierno, ya que en verano la terraza también está llena. Prácticamente todas las veces que fuimos vimos a más de uno trabajando allí. Incluso habían asiduos a los que vimos todos los días, porque se convirtió en nuestro cuartel general.
Los cafés expresos que nos pedimos, al ser pequeños, nos los sirvieron en chupitos. Y cuando digo chupitos es literal, tan solo hace falta ver las fotos. El capuchino de la niña, según nos dijo, también estaba bueno. Por lo menos el café es intenso, por eso se hizo habitual, aunque al precio de estos cafés casi salimos arruinados.

I’m giving it three stars because it wasn’t too special. As a coffee lover/​addict, I was expecting a better and richer coffee. I’m not going to complain too much. Their carrot cake is really nice and the Coladito wasn’t too bad.

This is a great little place for coffee or hot chocolate, or even tea! I do wish that these coffee spots would find a more creative hot chocolate for those of us who hate the taste of anything coffee. But that’s just me being picky. The husband LOVED the Funky Monkey! He is now craving it… thanks Coffee Company for hooking my husband! :)
This particular Coffee Company seems to be were everyone studies or works from «home». There are laptops everywhere! And you could tell there were meetings going on too. There was a spot for me and I felt lucky for that, but just be aware that it’s pretty packed with just people on their laptops a lot (this wasn’t my first time visiting).
Service was quick and friendly and the free wifi password is on the receipt. Great spot to stop in… or do work ;)

This may be my favorite place to work/​study/​read/​hang out on a rainy day in Amsterdam; even though it’s just a regular chain café, this particular branch is particularly cozy. Maybe it’s just because I used to live in the neighborhood and have had many a desperately-​needed hangover coffee here, but regardless, I still make a point to stop by if I’m in the area and it’s open. Bonus: for some reason the people that frequent this place are always amazing, interesting, friendly, and fascinating to people-​watch too.

In regard to seating options, this is the best CoffeeCompany I’ve been to so far. This location has tons of seating inside and out. The coffees were great (per usual) and this one also had the largest cake/​pastry selection that I’ve ever seen at any CoffeeCompany. I could, however, have done without the poster guy obnoxiously banging his stapler against the wall :(

Mellow atmosphere, ample seating including benches outside with blankets, and delicious coffee and tea drinks make this a great place to meet with friends for a chat. They have magazines for the adults and I think I’ve seen toys for the kiddies so everyone can be kept busy. They claim to have free wi-​fi but in reality it’s too slow to be useful. This is frustrating since cell signal is unavailable inside the café as well.
My favorite order here is a bambino (hot chocomel with coffee and whipped cream) and a slice of cheesecake with cherries on top. Filling and provides a sugar high. :)
