This is your beer speakeasy and beer oasis in Amsterdam. Very knowledgable staff and a vast rotating beer selection… What more can you ask for. Experience the beer dive bar with a traditional Dutch vibe. If you are in Amsterdam and you want to have THE beer experience in a quaint and unassuming atmosphere, then don’t skip this place.

This is THE beer bar in Amsterdam. Extremely friendly and knowledgable staff with a huge selection of local and international beers. The ambience is charming with great music playing in the background.
The food is also delicious. The Gehakiballentjes met saus «meatballs» are absolutely delicious!

Service in this little hidden away gem is wonderful and don’t let the outside deceive you. inside, you can literally get lost (read: blind drunk) from their giiiiiiiiiiiiiiiant list of available beers and their dark, casual atmosphere!
As a non-​beer drinker, there’s still lots available to you so don’t be swayed! As a self declared gin obsessed beverage drinker– I was able to cozy up to my fellow beer drinkers and still (order a gin and) have a great time!
And cozy it was! Whilst it can get nightmarishly busy on a Friday evening as its moments away from Leidseplein, once you’re in on a chair with a drink in your hand, trust me– inner peace (and many drinks) will come!

My friend and I only came for one drink but this place has a great beer menu! It’s split into beers from Amsterdam specifically, The Netherlands and Belgium.
From the outside, this café is unassuming with not much of a signage (it has a green awning) but once you step it, it’s darkly lit, inviting and you could easily drink through the chalkboard menu!
