We had gone on a Monday night. The bartender was a very grumpy man. He over-​charged me for a pint (€ 3.8 when it should have been € 2.8). Once we finished we waited at the gate for our taxi as it was raining. The bartender very rudely ushered us out for blocking his way. He literally pushed us and when we pointed out that we were actually paying customers he started hurling expletives and said we had no money to buy drinks and we should just «f*** off». It was a very sad experience in this otherwise vibrant city.

With patience you can get a seat here on a Saturday night, which is saying a lot given the location. It’s good for people watching and the drinks are reasonably priced (4 euro for a Jameson neat), so it’s not a bad place to take a break if you are in the neighborhood. It does get pretty smokey in there though.
