Nice food, nothing fancy, really decent nice gastro pub. Loved their spare ribs. Very friendly staff. Good lunches too. And a couple of good special beers on the list.

Been there for drinks several times. It’s a nice café in an former train station with a local crowd and friendly servers. Love it that they always play old music, from 50’s music to Billie Holiday to Queen.
The meal prices keep me from eating there, though I guess they’re not that expensive for an Amsterdam restaurant. I had a burger once — and I mean A burger because absolutely nothing else is served with it as part of the 9EUR charge. There are definitely other places with better burgers for less money in other pars of town. The server did bring me a complimentary sample of mustard soup, which was really delicious.
I’ll keep going back for drinks :)

This place is way off the usual tourist routes, I would’ve never visited if not led there by a friend who lives in Amsterdam. The place is brilliant though and deserves regular visits. Superb seasonal seafood (we had mussels and mustard soup), large selection of delicious Belgian beers, great service and atmosphere. The check (with 3 or 4 beers) was around 30 Euros per person, which is very reasonable for Amsterdam (not exactly a cheap city). Well recommended.
