Boerderij Meerzicht

This place was included as part of a bike tour with Wheely Dutch Bike Tours. It is a nice place to visit away from Amsterdam in a very scenic area. The pancake options are plentiful from savory to sweet. They even have a gluten and egg free option if needed. There is both outdoor and indoor seating as well as beer and wine options for you enjoyment. This place is a must if looking for an authentic Dutch pancake experience!

One of the best things about marathon training is the free pass to eat as much carbs as you please. My bf and I went for a long run in the park/​forest which is really nice place for it. As a treat, I was promised pancakes after the run. also since it’s so deep in the park it really is the only way to get there.
Really lovely family place and the perfect place for a Sunday lunch. The place is big a bit big so the first thing you need to do is go inside into the cafeteria looking area. This is where you can pick up a tray, drink and other things like apple tart and other goodies for your meal. You order your pancakes at the counter when you pay and they will give you a number. Grab a seat either inside or out and wait for your number to come up. Head back to the counter to pick up your plateful of goodness.
We ordered the pancakes with bacon. Top it off with a bit of syrup and it’s just perfect. The pancakes were thin and fluffy while it was a bit crispy on the outside as well. I’ll definitely be back to try some of the other ones!

My first of many Pannenkoek met Spek. Pancakes with Bacon. Yummy. Had one plus finished my wife’s and Tante’s. Nice outdoor seating. Besides great food it’s great for kids as there are many animals to see. You may even see someone ride a horse through the restaurant. Probably the best one I ate out of 3 different Pannenkoek restaurants I ate at during my 2 weeks in Holland. Tried to duplicate it at home. Not quite the same. Will have to go back to this fun Pannenkoek restaurant. Getting hungry writing this.

Great atmosphere. Great food. Great for kids with playground and animals. Downside is they do not accept Pin or credit cards, only cash. ATM on site but if its broken/​offline there is not an ATM nearby.

Dieses Ausflugs-​Restaurant außerhalb der Innenstadt ist ein Anlaufpunkt für viele Familien zum Pannenkoeken/​Pfannkuchen/​Pancakes essen. Die Preise liegen so zw. 6 – 7 EUR pro Pfannkuchen. Sie sind sehr lecker!
Die Location wird ausschließlich von Einheimischen besucht!
