I was so excited to come in here after seeing the Gluten-​free sign for brownies. However, I was not so lucky, because unfortunately I am allergic to Gluten and Egg. I have this crazy allergy which forces me to request for gluten-​free and vegan pastries. Sometimes I actually do get lucky, but this time not so much. Baksels looks ideal if you don’t have too many allergies or if you have a strong immune system, where you
can enjoy life’s little pleasures.

Baksels is located at the former Cake loves Coffee place. I never got to try their pastries but according to the reviews they must have been heavenly. Certainly a difficult legacy, but I wanted to give it a try.
Léonie, the owner of the new shop is very nice and helpful. She has created something great for people who find it hard to make decisions: the Raspberry Cheescake Brownie — how cool is that? And delicios as well!
And, good news for cake addicts who suffer from coeliac disease: at Baksels you can get glutenfree cupcakes.
