After waiting 15 min and realizing none of the servers were going to help, we left and had a great afternoon snack across the street. Ignore this place, they will certainly ignore you.

They have a great Irish atmosphere but they don’t even have Irish Car Bombs! I was amazed to find out they didn’t have that, probably won’t come back and the wifi was brokwn

I’m sure you won’t find any locals here. Very touristy but right across from our hotel. Nice patio overlooking canal outside that is wonderful to sit outside on a sunny day.

not a place I would ever go to myself, but we had a great time yesterday. They were kind enough to switch the channel so we watched Eurovision instead of sports this must have scared away the usual drunk homophobes and we had the top floor for ourselves. Bravo!

We’ve been here before but haven’t written a review, but after our last visit the rating went down a little. We did the misstake to visit them on Kings-day. First we tried to order a club-sandwich and got the rude response from the waitress that«we don’t serve that», and then she just stood there staring at us, we then ask, «well what do you serve?», and she responded«Anything else». Well ok, then you don’t need our money, so we decided to just get a drink instead. When we where going to pay I asked if she pinned, she said no… I know that they pin, we have been there before… I asked«why?» and she said, «its kings day»… After I paid, cash, and we’ve drank our beers, I went to bring the glasses back to the bar(statie-geld due to kings-day, 1 € /glass), I waited at the bar to get the money back, I saw how they pinned people at the bar. Need to say more? It’s sad that one waitress can bring the whole experience of a place down so much!

Tolle Aussenterrasse mit Abendsonne direkt an der Gracht. Das Bier schmeckte und die Bedienung war aufmerksam und schnell. Gerne wieder.

This is one of those places that live on their location. The beer is expensive, the staff is not very friendly and the food is no sensation either. What is good here is the view and the nice patio that people gather on during sunny days. My tip is to walk a couple of hundred metres down to find another place that deserves your money more.

Coming here was not my choice. Being trapped in a packed space drinking overpriced beers is never my choice. They also a weird service process where some take your orders, some bring your orders, some take your payments, some clear your table — and only exclusively one task. So on top of all the chaos, it’s a guessing game as to who to get a specific service from.

Hey! Looking for a boring-ass«irish» bar in a foreign country that is just like the crappy one in your redneck town? Here you go. Don’t half step. Come here to get that unique drink people call«Guiness».

irish people trap! way packed on the patio ice cold heineken beautiful march weather. good seats facing the canal in the afternoon. made my 5.80 heinekin all worth it. that heinekin was more expensive than a guinness in dublin on st. paddy’s day. wtf mate.

Perfect location, delicious Guinness and the most savory Fish & Chips dish! It’s one of the better restaurants around that area for food before you head into the center of Leidesplen(forgot how to spell). I’m glad Wagamama forced me to go to Aran! It was meant to be! If you need to use the bathroom — Make sure you bring coins with you! And I believe it’s a cash only place!

Quite a standard pub really. The central location makes for a convenient meeting point or rest stop and you could do worse than to come here. The beer choice is good, food is served all day, sports(mostly football) is often shown on their many TVs and they have a nice view over a canal — but where doesn’t round here? Staffed largely by British ex-pats this pub feels like a sizable slice of home for the British tourist, which isn’t always a bad thing. The staff, food and booze are all good here but Aran’s is what it is, a standard pub. No wow factor, not that one is really needed. Aran’s works for it’s clientele, happy in it’s own environment and all rather pleasant — in a pub kind of way. TTFN, Ian

This place doesn’t even need a review. It’s located in such a central area, that people are bound to stop by to watch parts of a soccer game, grab a beer, and just chat. We sat here, and time just FLEW by… it could have been about 4 hours. The first time we went for drinks only, and the second time we went was to eat breakfast. The service is very quick and the crowd is just excited to be there. The bartender was nice enough to charge my iphone for me. The only thing I didnt care for? Having to pay 50P to use the loo. It’s a little ridiculous.

A fun themed pub with everything youd expect from a traditional irish pub. The food is fantastic, the pints are a bit dull but you can sit outside by the canal and enjoy the view. Really relaxing and enjoyable

Was will man mehr.
