Just avoid it !!! Even repairing a flat tire turned into a lengthy and painful experience :-(returning 3 times in 3 days, i suspect the replacement of the inner tube that i was charged for the first time, has only been changed after the third time when the old one with a patch (while my bike was brand new) has then been finally showed to me, so bad to see people trying to screw you over by charging for the wrong service and finally trying to charge you again. My experience and the argument i had with them trying to charge me a second time for the same issue was a very bad experience, so there are enough bike shop around to not need to go through that again ;-)

I have rented bikes from here on two separate occasions and it was quick and easy. My only complaint is they ask you to pay in cash including the deposit. Otherwise all good. Sorry to hear others have had problems here but I haven’t.

Truly a terrible experience! Came here because we needed bikes for a few months in Amsterdam and it was close to our apartment. Big mistake.
Purchased two bikes.
Less than a week later, both had flat tires which they required us to pay for.
The shop employee was condescending and rude – faulting us for defects in the bike. For instance, he claimed that we had hit a curb so hard we had bent the frame. Think I would remember that. Nope the frame was bent when we bought it. I guess this is how cheap bike stores make money: sell a poor product, then charge you to fix what should have worked in the first place.
Instead, I would suggest a shop around the corner called Cycles4You. We purchased another bike here for my husband and the shop owner was kind, courteous, and fixed the bike for free in time for my husband to get to work one morning. Worth every bit of the few extra euros not to be taken advantage of later on.
