Came to this restaurant guided by the good ratings. Perhaps it was given good ratings because of the strong subculture of al fresco drinking and smoking while catching up with friends. It helps too that the staff was generally very friendly and good looking.
But I can’t agree with what I read about the food. Some of the reviews read like I could expect good restaurant food, but it was still «good olé» bar pub quality food! We ordered a tofu and mushroom salad, and a chicken satay plate. What needs to be cooked are cooked, and then slopped with good dollop of sauces tasting like straight from commercial brands of chilli ketchup mix and satay peanut sauce.
4 stars if you are looking for a nice pub place to catch up, 2 stars for the raised expectation from some reviews about the food.

Nice location to catch up with friends. Beautiful interior, friendly staff, great atmosphere. Strongly recommend for chill out in Amstelveen.

Friendly service, diverse menu (dinner companion loved the variety of salads). House red was fair: D
Starts with a sashimi appetizer of tuna and salmon. Was fantastic! Fresh and a good size to whet the appetite for two. I went salmon filet which was served with steamed snap peas and baby corn. Delicious!
Companion did the turkey medallions wrapped and bacon and was stuffed after eating two of the three: D
No desert as we were both full and happy.
