Coffee Corazon

Small, crowded, and excellent. Stopped here for lunch while visiting friends. I was charmed with the ambiance, our delightful waiter, and excellent food. Hope to get back before I leave for California and it’s over abundance of Starbucks. Gag on Starbucks! Corazon nailed it. Good job!

Absolutely lovely pastries, breads & desserts! Service is a bit slow & English speaking servers is not consistent. However, coffee & pastries can be worth the small frustration.

We had a gathering of family and friends at Coffee Corazon 4 years ago when we got married and the service was great. We went back today for an anniversary coffee and treat to celebrate and the service was abysmal.
We called over the server and ordered coffee, tea and a treat. He was friendly at first. We ordered in Dutch and English. He understood and went quickly to take another order from another table and seemed to chat with them for a long time. Then he disappeared. Then came back and went speaking with every table. Other tables were getting their drinks although they had come after us. I just thought our order took longer. Besides, on their menu it says not to rush and they aren’t pushy. We waited and looked at the book collection they had. After a long time, I decided to check one of the pictures I took of the menu to see what time I took it. 30 minutes had past since I took a picture. We sat and sat then finally said let’s go home and make our own tea and coffee.
We left and on our way out we let them know we weren’t happy. The server said, «oops I forgot to put it in the computer.» he was too busy walking around chatting to others to not have a clue we were sitting and waiting. They gave us a 2.50 € coupon for next visit. I don’t think I will go back. He ruined a celebration and broke a future tradition.

Had coffee here a coulpe of times and both times it was pretty busy (saturday afternoon). The staff really did their best to keep up with all the orders. The interior has a livingroom kind of feel. There are big book cases on the side walls so you won’t spend you time being bored. I really enjoyed the cheesecake and the cappuccino was nice to. Can’t wait to try other stuff from their menu!

Waited ½ an hour on terrace without service, moved inside hoping for better service but, were equally ‘invisible’ to their staff. Never again.

Hier kann man lecker Kaffee trinken und dazu einen frisch gebackenen Kuchen. Die Bedienung ist freundlich und aufmerksam. Ein Muss wenn man sich zufällig in Amersfoort aufhält.

Sehr uriges Kaffee mit jeder Menge Kaffee– und Tee-​auswahl und sehr leckerem, selbstgebackenem Kuchen. Das Obergeschoss ist für Familien gedacht, und jede Menge Kinderspielzeug liegt rum. Im Untergeschoss füllen zahllose Bücher die Regale an den Wänden.
Leider etwas laut, aber durchaus Klasse.
