Was looking for a good Indian restaurant in Almere and found this place on Google. Someone wrote a review about this place looking like a snack corner from the outside and I have to admit that’s true. It seems like an oddly placed little building in the middle of a road. On the inside its actually very nice and clean! Good start. From the outset I was a bit flabbergasted by their service. Not something Im really used to in the Netherlands. Apparently this guy was the owner, he is obviously very proud of his restaurant and food. He helped me finding the right dish and advised me some good side disches. He was very polite, dropped by at the right moments, really put some effort in serving etc. Awesome. There is one way to describe the food: Perfect. Real Indian food, all very tasty and nicely presented, good portions, very fresh and with some background information about the spices and the regions where they normally cook this food in India. Unfortunately it feels like this place is a bit underrated, its probably the location. However, if you like Indian food, you won’t be dissapointed, these people deserve some props for real. Tip: Park your car in one of the side streets and walk from there and take the Yoghurt drink if you are planning to eat spicy food. I like spicy a lot but their hot sauce is actually hot! So careful :)
