Pickings must be a bit slim in Almere because Unilocal told me this place had five stars, so my friend and I chose it for our lunch yesterday when we were in town, but it didn’t seem to be anything special to us. The lunch menu was extremely standard — the usual run of Dutch sandwiches and salads. We had a nice bottle of Sauvignon Blanc although the waitress passed some serious judgement about our lunchtime drinking. The interior looked a bit shabby during the day but I can imagine at night with the lights low you wouldn’t notice the chipped paint and dirty floors. Sad to say, at least during the day, this place is nothing special.

I wanted to go to a nice quiet and classy bar. Then I found this elegant and adorably decorated spot with excellent service. The bartenders were very friendly and conversational which gave the place a good vibe. I would have definitely became a regular if I lived here.
