We are always falling in love with the satay sauce and/​or the fried rice. If you don’t have time to dinner at the restaurant or you just wanna sit at your couch, you can ask for a plate and bring your dinner at home.
Ask Hon for his famous ‘Spekkoek’ for desert, if you are not already done.

Definitely one of my favorite spots in Alkmaar although I only get there when I am traveling solo as my colleagues look confused when I suggest we grab Indonesian for dinner. The fact that this restaurant handles large parties so well and that the host caters to eaters whims makes it even more enjoyable.
My first trip was with a party of five and we wanted to graze on multiple offerings. We put ourselves in the care of our host and did not come away disappointed. Upon mentioning one of our dining companions was a vegetarian the offerings were modified on the fly to feature more selections that would appeal to all members of our party. Sometimes the storefront can be hard to find but it is well worth the trip!
