I really can recommend the tapas menu. Enough to choose from and satisfying if you take three courses. Nice atmosphere and friendly service.

What a treat! This spot is in the old town area very close by to the Cheese Market that is open on Fridays (in spring and summer) but there was still seating for us. It was so surprising but very nice to sit outside near the water. What a beautiful backdrop! They used the old fish market tables to dine on. Super cool. Even though we were outside, were sheltered from the random quick rain storms.
Lunch was tasty and the sandwiches are simple and well-​priced. Worth a stop when in Alkmaar!

Perfect spot for a meal in Alkmaar. Daily specials, while not the quality of Abby’s, are quite good. Friendly service and a general good vibe to the room.
While most of my trips here have been exceptional and recent was also very good do not order the crème bruele. It was flan not crème bruele. not nice at all!

Sehr schönes Restaurant im Herzen Alkmaars.
Ideal um etwas essen zu gehen und danach noch einen guten Cocktail zu trinken.
Das Personal kann neben Niederländisch auch Englisch und Deutsch, die Karte gibt es ebenfalls in Deutsch.
Ich hatte einen Burger mit Pommes und Salat. Der Burger war hervorragend, sehr saftig und geschmackvoll.
Service war schnell und freundlich.
Sehr großes Restaurant, im Sommer mit Terrasse direkt an der Gracht.

Sehr angenehm, sehr lecker, sehr freundlich. Etwas zu dunkel für meinen Geschmack. Schön gelegen. Es gibt die Karte auch in Deutsch und englisch. Das Personal sprach ohne Probleme Deutsch.
