Chariot

Das Hotel Chariot befindet sich in Aalsmeer, nicht weit weg von Flughafen Schiphol.
Das kleine, gemütliche Hotel liegt direkt in einer Wohngegend, die auch für den Blumenanbau genutzt wird. Vom Hotelfenster aus kann man viele Gewächshäuser in der Umgebung sehen.
Die Zimmer sind geschmackvoll eingerichtet und das Bad ist zweckmässig und modern. Alles da was man erwartet. Sogar ein kleiner Wasserkocher mit Tee und Instantkaffee.
Die Betten haben einen guten Liegekomfort. Nicht zu fest und nicht zu weich!
Freies W-​Lan gibt es im ganzen Haus, auch auf den Zimmern.
Das Frühstück-​Buffet ist nicht ganz so umanfgreich, wie es den großen Häusern Standard ist, aber vermissen tut man hier auch nichts.
Brötchen, Wurst, Marmeldade, Cearealien und frisches Obst sind ebenso da, wie frischer Orangensaft.
Beim Check in und Check out geht es sehr familier und freundlich zu. Gerne wird auch noch etwas Small-​Talk gemacht.

Hotel Chariot is a reasonably priced hotel close enough to the airport to make it a good choice for long overnight layovers. It’s located in a residential/​commercial area not far from Schipol.
The rooms are clean and big. My rate for an overnight stay was 69 euros. The breakfast buffet was not included in the room rate and was a little pricey. Still the hotel is a good choice. There is a bar/​pub with very good beer and wine choices. Harder spirits are available if needed. The bar and dining area are done up with wood and warm colors that make it a comfortable place to be. The rooms are furnished with seasoned furnishings that add character to the room.
There are art reproductions from Dutch masters that hang in the halls as well. The only other issue I noticed is I do not think the rooms have available heat; at least I didn’t see any available source. It was late and maybe I didn’t check that well. Still if in Amsterdam for a late night layover and you don’t want to sit in the airport all night check in to Hotel Chariot for a good night’s sleep. I did.
