Went twice over the weekend! Busy on Saturday afternoon but still got a good coffee and delicious panini. Back again Sunday morning (8am) for breakfast sandwich — yum! Best view in Welly.

Have always loved beach babylon — in summer it can be really difficult to get a seat because so many people love it here.
Just stopped off for an ice coffee this time around, and was excited to see that it came with a chocolate fish and everything! I love chocolate fish!!!
My drink was good, and my friend got a bounty milkshake which she loved. Yum yum.
Their location is amazing too — if you’re visiting Wellington, this is the best café on Oriental Parade, which is stunning when the sun comes out.

While the small plates looked appetizing on the menu, the optimum word here is ‘small’. And if you’re gonna do small portions then the taste better be worth it. Unfortunately Beach Babylon ends up washed up. Average at best.
Also, there was an abundant midge problem. I spent more time swatting flies than sampling fries.
