I had planned to go to a café for lunch just around the corner from here but when I got there it was closed! So coming here was completely spontaneous and I am so so glad I discovered it. It was busy, all of their inside tables were taken so I just decided to take-​away. It’s a very small store and all of their sushi is on display in the window in a glass cabinet. It all looked incredible, some like I had never seen before. I decided to be adventurous and tried their spicy chicken, which wasn’t too spicy just really nice and I also got a purple rice sushi… purple! I was really pleased with my selections all of them were really delicious, it cost around $ 7.50 in the end which I thought was pretty good and I was totally satisfied. I will definitely be coming here again next time I’m in the area.

My partner goes to Yokoso religiously when he’s working in the area, so I was really stoked to get a lunch break in the area when we could go to lunch together. Unfortunately for me, I was absolutely ravenous by the time we got to Yokoso, so my patience for waiting was worn thin before I walked through the door. However, if I don’t let my insane hunger cloud the experience, Yokoso was actually really good.
The place was super busy — there were a lot of people picking from the pre-​made sushi for takeaway lunch, and more people still sitting at the bar waiting for a donburi. I was one of those people. When my tofu donburi turned up, it was steaming hot and really flavourful. I also got a couple of prawn tempura, which were chewy but I tossed them into my donburi and they tasted just fine.
