Bakehaven Cafe

Simple café with plenty of breakfast and lunch options located near Auckland airport and the industrial area. We stopped in following an overnight motel stay nearby to grab coffee and a breakfasty meal.
Breakfast was good and sizeable — they have a number of cooked options, or you can pick up something quick from the warmers. I chose the mushroom breakfast and was rewarded with a heaping of mushrooms with egg, bacon and toast. The coffee was rather good also, and a lot better than I had expected. Flat white with good strength and body.
The cooked breakfasts are around $ 10 – 13 so a pretty good deal. Plenty of tables and chairs both inside and out, free newspapers, and fast free wifi (just ask at the counter for the code). A good option if you are after a quick meal.
