I always bliss out a little when I go to Uxbridge Café. It’s in a type of conservatory added on to the old Uxbridge church, and has a calming, light atmosphere. All over the walls are gorgeous pieces of art and the two staff, who are a couple, are the most adorable people you’ll ever be served by in a café. They take so much pride in their work, and it shows.
The café does good coffee and has excellent treats in the cabinet, but it’s the crepes that really make it special. Savoury or sweet, they’re so light and addictive. Uxbridge Café is the perfect retreat, even if you don’t have time to explore the rest of the Uxbridge Centre.
