The Stylish Man

No I did not have my hair cut here but a friend of mine comes here and on one occasion I did go with him and I am reviewing the place because I was impressed. My friend obviously got a good hair cut which is really important of course but the space itself is something to rave about. Located up in the 255 mall that you probably didn’t know even exists is where The Stylish Man is located. There is a sign on Broadway, one of those old fashioned swirled red, blue and white ones.
The space is large, wood floors, high ceiling and a fantastic view of Broadway. The chairs are the really old fashioned ones like in Sweeney Todd but there is no Johnny Depp, but you do get a really nice Asian lady who is talkative and friendly and who cuts hair well and not your throat like in Sweeney Todd. If you are waiting like I was you get a nice wooden bench seat with a stack of magazines such as GQ, Vogue and FHM, good reading. If you didn’t have an appointment, no problem, they’ll just fit you in as soon as there is space available, so you could quite possibly get a walk in. They stock a good range of product too and I thought overall, the service and the space was great. My friend has made it his regular.
