The Chicken

Given they are called «The Chicken», you would expect their chicken to be amazingggg however we were not impressed at all. We got an «all day meal D set» which was $ 15 – 16. They must be very new because the lady serving us had no idea how to use the eftpos machine and when she did manage she nearly charged us $ 1500 hahaha good thing we always check before proceeding with transactions. Gosh.
The chicken had no taste or flavouring and perhaps even no salt, only tasted oil???
The fries were extremely white but apparently that’s because the oil is very very new? But fries were definitely too salty and more soggy and soft than crunchy…
Their «biscuit» was a coffee flavoured scone and it was horrible. It was dry and rock hard, something about the flavour was really weird and not to my liking.
The corn mayo salad was sad it had very minimal amounts of corn and tasted very average. Just vegetables slathered in mayo and sprinkled with a few corn pieces.
Overall I would definitely not return here or recommend to others. The price is ridiculously expensive for what we got (3 drum sticks, 3 small wings, small fries, small biscuit, small corn salad and small soft drink). Their produce were definitely very fresh and you can tell straight away. Maybe it’s because they are new and still getting the hang of things but still… Shouldn’t be this disappointing.
Also we were the only customers when we went and the owner just kept staring at us while we ate… So awkward!!! And gosh they need to oil that door lol… that screeching sound is horrendous hahaha.
