I struggled between a three and and four star for this one. The delivery was INSANELY fast. It came literally 20 minutes later. Granted I live fairly close to this location and I did order outside of the«busy» hours as suggested, but still I was very impressed! There doesn’t seem to be many options for«dial and deliver,» or in my case«click and deliver»(I ordered online). For the options that are out there I thought Soul Thai was pretty good. However, not the greatest Thai food. I had the fresh spring rolls, which were ok, but lacked the freshness that is usually accompanied fresh spring rolls. Where was the coriander? or the basil? or the mint? These herbs usually pull it all together. The sauce was realllllly sweet too. I also ordered the Chicken Pad See Ew, which was a very larger portion(as I type this, I am also eating the left overs for breakfast). There were a lot of veggies which I did liked, and also a decent amount of chicken. Again, good, but not that great. If you are looking for great quality Thai food or authentic Thai I think this place shouldn’t be the first on the list. Although, if you are too lazy to cook/leave the house on a Sunday evening and all you want is a bit of dirty Thai to go with your cheap Chardonnay, this place will hit the spot. I’d order from there again on a lazy evening.

Torn between giving Soul Thai 3 or 4 stars. As delivery Thai food they get 4 stars, but if I compare it to sit-down Thai restaurants I would give it a 3. The food is clean and fresh, but I would say the flavors are a little conservative. However, for delivered Thai they are the best in the area without a doubt.

I’ve order from Soul Thai twice. Their Tom Yum soup is pretty good, but their curries are really oily and not that flavorful. It’s convenient since they do deliver, but I would never go out of my way to get the food. It’s cheap and greasy. I don’t know why someone would think the quality is good, you pay for what you get and that’s cheap thai takeaway.

Thank goodness for Soul Thai. And thank goodness they deliver! Whoever decided they should has made hundreds out of me. Especially in winter. There’s nothing worse than having to go out and get food but with Soul Thai they brave it on their little scooters for you. Bless. The food is so yummy and is really good quality. My favourite is the Pad Thai(typical I know) but it’s actually so good. And the stir fried vegetables so yum as well. They do them in this delicious sauce that makes me want to forever eat veges. The best thing about Soul Thai is that every time they deliver they great you so politely and say goodbye in Thai. Love it, love them, love their food.

Soul Thai — how do I love thee? Let me count the ways. First up, this place delivers, which is pretty great on a cold winter’s night. They also have cute staff members riding cute scooters and carrying mobile eftpos to do deliveries, which bumps Soul Thai right up in my estimations. Secondly, this place makes amazing appetisers. Oftentimes Indian and Thai restaurants don’t have the kind of appetisers that make me want to spend another $ 7 – 10 on my meal, but Soul Thai gets me every time. Tempura king prawns, corn cakes, Thai fish cakes, salmon satay — all are absolutely amazing and a total drain on the wallet. For mains, I recommend the curries — I’m a big fan of panang tohu/rich red curry. While a bit pricier than other takeaways in the area, Soul Thai makes up for this with taste and quality.
