Sierra Cafe

I had a nice leisurely lunch with a couple of my workmates here, last afternoon. Firstly, parking was a breeze, so a big thumbs up for that! The café itself, had a nice roomy indoor-​outdoor set-​up and the service was warm and friendly. As for the food, there was a nice selection of cabinet food and plenty of regular fare on the menu. I had the ham and cheese toasty and I must say it was pretty tasty; it oozed with cheese and came accompanied with a tiny fresh green salad — loved the mustard dressing! At a mere $ 6:50, it was simply delightful! Their slices were also very reasonably priced.
I wouldn’t go so far as to say I am about to become a fan of this place but it deserves a little more than 3 stars and I wouldn’t hesitate to revisit, if I was in the vicinity.

With so many cafés serving up complex meals with wild ingredients, sometimes you just want to go somewhere that serves up good quality, classic meals such as eggs benedict, french toast, a big Breakfast and creamy mushrooms on ciabatta. Sierra Café on Lincoln Road in Henderson has a solid menu with an All Day Breakfast and All Day Lunch. The management and staff are super friendly, all coffee is served with a double shot and there is always a well-​stocked cabinet full of takeaway and bakery treats. Loads of room for kids (they even supply toys!) and large groups, as well as singles and couples. There’s plenty of natural light and an outdoor area (albeit that neighbours Lincoln Rd) with umbrellas in the summer. You really can’t go wrong.

They are only too happy to make changes to their menu to suit tastes and dietary needs. Some healthy options… Always fresh Ingredients — and damn good coffee.
