I’m pretty much here on a daily.
I love their caramel and nut slice.
I love their upside down plum cake.
I love their rhubarb and cream cheese mufffins.
I love their chai lattes.
I leave their super large flat whites.
I love that they make their milkshakes with real ice cream.
Most of all, my daughter loves their creative hot chocolate which is served warm so that she can drink it. :-)

Pukeko’s Nest is a small café on the main road of Puke. I went there with my partner once for coffee and a bite to eat, and the overwhelming impression we got was one of averageness. Average food, average coffee, average atmosphere. Nothing amazing, but nothing disappointed either. There was a wide selection of food available, though, and the breakfast menu is pretty extensive.
My partner goes here regularly as it’s close to his work, and he has the same impression, although he does say that the staff are very friendly (I saw this myself) and provide really fast and efficient takeaway service even when it’s busy.
