New Beginnings

New Beginnings seems a bit tired. There’s no spark inside and little livliness. I took a small wonder round but felt no desire to stop and linger. Nothing jumped out at me, perhaps because of the way it was all displayed. It is small inside but I don’t think that’s an excuse because heaps of life can be pumped into a small space if you go about it the right way.
As with all opportunity shops I’m sure there’s the chance for some bargains and some treasure inside but it’s weather you can be bothered hunting that may be the issue. Even the sales lady inside was chattering to someone about an amazing new op shop in Birkenhead instead of talking about the one she worked in. This kind of just made me want to shoot off and check out the Bhead one.
There was a pretty ridiculous rack outside sporting a $ 2 sign. You can’t go wrong with a $ 2 purchase but the rack was so uninviting I didn’t sift through to check out the quality of the items.
